HMSHost Promotes Four Associates to Vice President

New VP appointments denote continued organizational growth and development.

Global restaurateur HMSHost has announced the appointment of four associates to vice president positions.

“I am thrilled to announce the promotion of several members of our team to vice president,” said HMSHost President and CEO Steve Johnson, “HMSHost is defined by our people, and they have all played pivotal roles in our success. Developing talent goes hand in hand with developing our organization for continued growth and prosperity in the future.”

Barbara Calloway – vice president, national lounge operations. Barbara joined HMSHost at the peak of the pandemic, while leading HMSHost’s American Airlines operations as the senior director, national lounge operations. In Barbara’s new role, she will be managing the overall relationship between HMSHost and American Airlines, delivering superior customer service to passengers in HMSHost’s American Airlines Lounges. Prior to HMSHost, Barbara held the position of vice president franchising & operations for McDonald’s. Barbara holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Illinois - Chicago.

Annie Dremstedt - vice president, human resources. Annie joined HMSHost in 2018 as senior director of organizational development and learning. As vice president, Annie is responsible for leading and directing the strategic human capital plan related to talent management, talent development, talent acquisition, and organizational development. Annie holds two master’s degrees in human resources and organizational development and Leadership from St. Joseph’s University and University of Central Florida, and an undergraduate degree in business from Florida State University.

Shayna Iglesias - vice president, marketing, public relations & communications. Shayna joined HMSHost in February 2014 as senior manager of marketing, and most recently served in the role of senior director, marketing & public relations. In her new role, Shayna will oversee all marketing, public relations and communications functions for the organization. Shayna serves as an advisor to the Airport Restaurant & Retail Association Board. She received her undergraduate degree from Boston University and holds a master’s in integrated marketing communications from Emerson College.

Tosin Kasali - vice president, business development. Tosin joined HMSHost in September 2016 as director of business development finance with over a decade of experience in finance and information technology positions. As vice president, Tosin will increase his strategic leadership of a full array of airport markets for HMSHost. Tosin serves on the Board of Directors of the Airport Minority Advisory Council and chairs its Membership Committee. His undergraduate degree is from Old Dominion University and he received his MBA from George Washington University.
