Challenger 604 Differences Training for Pro Line 4 to Pro Line Fusion is Approved and Available

Sept. 16, 2019
Part 135 Operators can now schedule the FAA approved training for the CL604 Nextant Aerospace Pro Line Fusion STC upgrade through FlightSafety International.

Nextant Aerospace received the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the Challenger 604 Pro Line Fusion upgrade in Nov. 2018. The FAA approved the Differences Training required for Part 135 Operators in the summer 2019.

Operators now have the ability to receive the required Pro Line 4 to Pro Line Fusion® differences training through FlightSafety International. Upon completion of the training, Part 135 Challenger 604 operators will then be authorized to operate their aircraft with the Pro Line Fusion STC installed. Demand for the Nextant Aerospace 604XT Pro Line Fusion cockpit upgrade is so strong that the company currently has seven installations in progress with an estimated 30 that will be completed by the end of the year. “Challenger 604 Operators have been anxiously awaiting an FAA approved Differences Course for the Pro Line Fusion STC upgrade. FlightSafety International has delivered and operators are already being trained,” said Steve Bruce, Nextant Aerospace 604XT program director. “This also establishes the groundwork for EASA to have a training basis to support the European requirements,” added Bruce.

“We are pleased to have worked with Nextant Aerospace to develop this training program,” said Dann Runik, senior vice president, operations, FlightSafety International. ”This is another example of our commitment and ability to develop and deliver high quality courses that meet the specific needs of our Customers.”
