A pilot was forced to make an emergency landing at a Santa Cruz County beach on Saturday afternoon, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
The single-engine Cessna C172 landed at Manresa State Beach, near Watsonville at around 4 p.m. Three people were onboard and no injuries were reported.
The FAA is currently investigating the incident. According to the agency’s aircraft database, the plane is registered in San Jose by a Cardinal Flying Corporation. The agency did not provide the identities of the individuals onboard the aircraft.
