The east runway at Huntsville International Airport is currently closed following an emergency landing this morning.
Airport spokesperson Mary Swanstrom said the incident happened about 10:30 a.m.
A non-commercial, twin-engine aircraft made an emergency landing after the pilot received an indication that one landing gear was potentially malfunctioning.
“That was the case,” Swanstrom said.
The plane, with two onboard, landed on the east runway, closing the airfield for approximately 20 minutes to deal with the aircraft, she said.
