Worksman Cycles has announced upgrades for its 2016 model lineup. The upgrades are all designed to decrease maintenance and the need for replacement parts for cycles used under extreme conditions such as in oilfields, petrochemical facilities and airports. All the upgrades are included at no additional cost. all models will now feature powdered-coated handlebars, handlebar stems, and crank arms in place of chromed steel components for better corrosion resistance. Chromed steel fenders and chainguards have been replaced with polycarbonate models which eliminate corrosion and denting issues. Optional cabinets and steel baskets will now painted with a high-performance powdercoat finish designed to better withstand chips and scratches from impact with material being carried.
