CENFORTEC and TECNAM Partner to Support Aircraft Maintenance Workforce
Tecnam has partnered with CENFORTEC on an initiative to support the aviation maintenance labor market by supporting pathways to careers after aviation education programs.
CENFORTEC is the largest school for aircraft maintenance technicians (AMT) in Europe, and it currently has more than 300 students enrolled.
The school hopes its new strategic partnership with Tecnam will help students access more opportunities directly in the aviation industry, with support from the OEM.
By combining more chances to engage in practical training that’s directly relevant to the aviation industry with classroom education, CENFORTEC aims to give students benefits like:
- More internship opportunities
- Increased hands-on experience
- Improved skills to use in the workplace
The partnership is also beneficial for CENFORTEC’s training programs, as it presents the opportunity to enhance the programs and showcase commitment to high-quality aviation education amid ongoing labor shortages.
CEO at CENFORTEC André Garcia said, “Together we can create the invisible heroes of aviation.”
Garcia continued, “This partnership with Tecnam is a tremendous milestone that will give our students the real-world OEM exposure they need to excel in their careers and keep the global fleet flying safely.”
Chief Sales Officer at Tecnam Walter Da Costa commented, “At Tecnam, we know that the safety and efficiency of our aircraft rely heavily on the expertise of the technicians on the ground.”
Da Costa added, “We are thrilled to partner with Europe’s largest maintenance training facility to help nurture the next generation of highly skilled aviation professionals.”
