Modern Chemical and FirstKem Partner for Blue Gold Cleaners Distribution
FirstKem has officially partnered with Modern Chemical, the company that manufactures Blue Gold Cleaners, to strengthen distribution and offer better responsiveness for customers.
Blue Gold Cleaners produces aqueous cleaning solutions—used globally by aerospace companies and for other industrial applications—that are more environmentally friendly than traditional options.
FirstKem is a global company that distributes specialty chemicals and consumables.
This partnership ensures FirstKem can keep a full inventory of Blue Gold Products to reduce lead times and allow for immediate shipping. As a global distributor, FirstKem plans to facilitate redistribution from its facilities in:
- United States
- United Kingdom
- Singapore
The collaboration also introduces a new multipurpose cleaner for use in general aviation, creating a Blue Gold product especially for smaller aircraft and maintenance operations.
Blue Gold products have been approved by all major aircraft engine manufacturers, offering non-corrosive cleaning options that protect metals. These products also comply with standards that ensure they’re compatible with aerospace alloys, including:

- ARP 1795
- ASTM F945
For more than 50 years, Blue Gold products have been used by aviation companies for more than five decades, for cleaning applications like:
- Aircraft exteriors and interiors
- Gas turbine engines
- Missile systems
