Bethany, OK— April 5 ,2016—GlobalParts Aero Structures in Bethany, Oklahoma has pursued an aggressive growth program in 2016 centered around the addition of three new CNC machining centers that have dramatically expanded its capabilities and turned it into one of the industry’s leading sources for engine inlets for Cessna, Hawker and Learjet business jet models. In all , the facility has added over 400 new component part numbers to their FAA approved repair capabilities.
“With the addition of this all new equipment—a CNC Router, Brake and Shear—we can now produce a much wider array of products and do so with much tighter tolerances,” said Steve Farber, Director of Operations-Manufacturing & Structures. “That means we’re able to expand our business from repairs to manufacturing. It has allowed us to develop expertise on engine inlets, establish an exchange capability and appropriate in-ventory levels to serve a growing customer base. We have even taken on some custom fabrication for Supplemental Type Certificate projects.”
Global Parts Aero Structures is also building a new clean room to expand its composite repair capabilities. The company was acquired by GlobalParts.aero in 2013. Its busi-ness legacy includes the repair, overhaul, exchange, and sale of jet parts for commer-cial, military, and corporate aircraft as well as the manufacture of wing and empennage components, metallic and composite fairings nacelle components, and landing gear, crew, passenger, and baggage/cargo doors.
