Astronautics’ full cockpit modernization of the second L-100 transport aircraft for the Peruvian Air Force (FAP) has completed flight tests and final acceptance of the aircraft by the FAP for entry into service. Astronautics has updated the L-100 with its Badger integrated flight display system, providing an integrated glass cockpit designed to maximize crew situational awareness with digital interfaces and displays, enhanced functionality, and additional safety features which provide information such as traffic, terrain, and weather.

The upgrade includes four 6x8-inch high-resolution displays, a control panel, and an engine data concentrator unit, transforming the legacy cockpit from steam gauges to a digital, full-glass cockpit, replacing primary flight displays and engine instruments with the same Badger Pro+ IFDS flying on new production Bell helicopters.
