Genesys Aerosystems and HELIATICA announce that they have received Russian certification for Genesys HeliSAS Stability Augmentation Systems and Autopilots on Robinson R44, R66 and Airbus H125 and H130 series helicopters

Dallas, TX (March 07, 2017) – Representatives of Genesys Aerosystems and its Russian distributor HELIATICA are proud to announce successful validation of Genesys’ Aerosystems’ Supplemental Type Certificates (STC) for the HeliSAS® Stability Augmentation System and Autopilot on Robinson Helicopter models R44 and R66 and the Airbus Helicopters H125 family (AS350B, BA, D, B1, B2 and B3) and H130 (EC130 B4 and T2).

To obtain the approvals, the original Genesys Aerosystems’ FAA STCs had to be validated by the Aviation Register of the Russian Federation, a certification authority within Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency.

“We are extremely excited that our teams received these validations that will open up the growing Russian helicopter market,” Ms. Luster stated. “We have been working closely with HELIATICA since they appointed as our Russian distributor in 2015 and they have been fantastic partners throughout this entire validation process.”

“With a fleet of 476 Robinson Helicopters and another 213 rotorcraft from Airbus Helicopters, we see a huge potential for Genesys products,” Tatyana Dushenkova, general director of HELIATICA said.

Representatives of HELIATICA are also announcing the finalization of Airbus Helicopters H130 retrofit with HeliSAS autopilot. The project was performed by HELIATICA in cooperation with Heliswiss Iberica, Barcelona-based MRO provider and a Genesys Aerosystems authorized distributor and service center.

Genesys Aerosystems selected HELIATICA as a distributor for the territory of Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States countries in October 2015.
