Ameco’s V2500 Capability Approved by Authorities
On June 30th, 2015, Ameco’s capability application on V2500-A5 series has been approved by CAAC, FAA and EASA. Thus, Ameco has been authorized to provide overhaul and modification on V2500-A5 series.
The service on V2500-A5 series as a new product will help promote Ameco’s market competitiveness and support it to serve more customers in home and abroad. The first engine for overhaul is planned to the workshop this July.
In addition to V2500-A5 series, the Beijing-base MRO provider overhauls PW4000 series and RB211-535E4 series, also provides QEC kit and module change on CFM56 series.
Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering Corporation, Beijing (Ameco Beijing) is a joint venture between Air China and Lufthansa German Airlines. It was established on August 1st 1989, with Air China holding 60% and Lufthansa 40% of the registered capital of USD 187.53 million.
Ameco Beijing provides maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for airframes, engines and components of commercial aircraft. It also offers engineering and logistics services, GSE calibration as well as technical training. Ameco is a MRO provider licensed by CAAC, FAA, EASA as well as many other countries’ regulatory authorities and acts as a Designated Modification Design Organization (DMDOR) authorized by CAAC.
