GENEVA -- Dallas Airmotive and H+S Aviation, BBA Aviation companies, announced new additions to their Honeywell GTCP36 series APU and engine capabilities, which will bring greater speed and coverage to their global service and support network.

“We designed our global service and support network to be close to the customer. To be where they are and where they operate,” explained Mark Taylor, Managing Director, H+S Aviation. He said that one of the priorities is speed and to accomplish that the companies have to continually evaluate their capabilities versus customer requirements.

“We are constantly updating and enhancing our capabilities to meet the needs of our turbine engine and accessory customers,” stated Taylor. H+S Aviation recently added GTCP36 capabilities for the Falcon 2000, Falcon 7X, and Challenger 300 aircraft. The company also upgraded its testing for the GTCP36 series APUs. “We can now provide comprehensive MRO service to the majority of business aircraft using the GTCP36 series APU,” he said.

Taylor also discussed their extensive engine capabilities and the coverage of H+S Aviation’s and Dallas Airmotive’s global service and support network.

The two companies have developed a global service network that consists of more than 100 field service representatives, 10 Regional Turbine Centers, and five major overhaul centers. “Our global network can provide service and support for more than 80% of the turbine engines in operation today on business aircraft,” Taylor mentioned.

H+S Aviation, based in Portsmouth, England, is the anchor of that network for the Europe, Africa, and Middle East regions. Together with Dallas Airmotive’s Regional Turbine Center, the network is fully equipped for repair and overhaul on some of the most popular engines used in business aviation in the region including PT6A, JT15D and PW500 engines.

Taylor also revealed that the companies expanding network now includes turbine engines for rotorcraft. “Earlier this week we announced that our new Abu Dhabi facility received General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) CAR 145 approval for PW200 and PT6C-67 engines in the United Arab Emirates. With the development of the Rotorcraft Center of Excellence in Dallas and our combined global resources, we can now support two-thirds of turbine-powered civil helicopters.”
