Stephen C. Foster Joins Sabreliner As Director Of Operations

He brings to Sabreliner Aviation more than 15 years of demonstrated operations and engineering leadership while at Eaton, Gulfstream Aerospace and Pratt & Whitney.

Perryville, Mo., January 8, 2015– Stephen C. Foster has been named director of Operations for Sabreliner Aviation, a growing, customer-focused provider of flight support for civil and military fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft.

Foster, who joined the diversified aerospace company earlier this year, is responsible for Sabreliner Aviation’s multi-site operation, based in Perryville, Mo. He brings to Sabreliner Aviation more than 15 years of demonstrated operations and engineering leadership while at Eaton, Gulfstream Aerospace and Pratt & Whitney.

As director of Operations, he joins a new Sabreliner Aviation team that is committed to quality, on-time delivery and total customer satisfaction. The new Sabreliner Aviation features ever-expanding capabilities ranging from basic maintenance and repair to major overhauls, manufacturing, and highly advanced upgrades.

Foster has more than a decade of operations and lean manufacturing experience in gas-turbine airframe manufacturing. Before joining Sabreliner Aviation, Foster was operations manager for Eaton Corporation, in Mountain Home, Ark., Prior, he was director of Operations for Gulfstream Aerospace in Phoenix, Ariz. He also worked for Pratt & Whitney for more than 12 years, serving as a manufacturing engineer, director of Engineering, operations manager and general manager.

Foster earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 1999, and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University in 2008.
