Raytheon recently entered a new contract to provide Patriot air and missile defense system equipment to the Netherlands.

The contract—worth an estimated $627 million—covers the direct commercial sale of:

  • Command and control stations
  • Launchers
  • Radars

Raytheon’s Global Patriot system defends against threats like:

  • Advanced long-range cruise missiles
  • Air-breathing threats
  • Tactical ballistic missiles

It is the only solution that has been combat-proven to have these capabilities.

Patriot is used in 19 countries to combat rapid attacks and advanced aerial threats.

“Raytheon continues to partner with the Dutch government to modernize its integrated air and missile defense capabilities to deter aggression,” said Pete Bata, senior vice president of Global Patriot at Raytheon.

Bata added, “Raytheon is accelerating production to deliver these critical systems quickly.”

Raytheon is an RTX business.
