Minnesota Business Aviation Association Announces All Female Executive Team
Minnesota Business Aviation Association (MBAA) proudly announces a historic moment in aviation. It is the first time that a regional chapter of the National Business Aviation Association has had an all-female leadership team since its inception in 1947. Not only are each of these MBAA executives female, but they are experienced aviation professionals and actively involved in Minnesota aviation business.
“I am honored to be part of this progressive team” Janine Hogen, president of the MBAA said of the occasion. “Aviation has historically been a highly male dominated industry. For many years I was one of just a handful of women in the room when I attended regional NBAA meetings around the country. It is truly exciting to see how much aviation has evolved and diversified in recent years.”
Janine has been interested in aviation ever since the fateful day she saw the movie Top Gun many years ago. Janine received her Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management from St. Cloud State University’s former Aviation Program and has worked in various facets of the business aviation industry for over 25 years. When she is not busy with MBAA, she is the Customer Success Manager for Stellar Labs, a Silicon Valley based technology company that is developing an innovative and comprehensive flight operations management platform for business aviation.
