Corporate Angel Network appoints Bruce Whitman to Board of Directors
Corporate Angel Network has appointed Bruce N. Whitman, President and CEO of FlightSafety International, to its Board of Directors. Bruce has experience of over 50-year in aviation industry. Prior to joining FlightSafety International in 1961 as Assistant to the President, he served for National Business Aviation Association. In 2003, he became FlightSafety s President and CEO. He completed graduation from Trinity College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He was commissioned a lieutenant in US Air Force and obtained triple ratings of pilot, navigator and bombardier serving in Strategic Air Command. He was named Assistant to Commander, Homestead Air Force Base. After active duty, he attended George Washington University Law School for 2-year before leaving to join FlightSafety.

At present, Bruce is a Director and Chairman of Executive Committee of PASSUR Aerospace; Co-Chairman of Board and Chairman of Nominating Committee of Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation; a Director of General Aviation Manufacturers Association; an Executive Committee member of NATA s Air Charter Safety Foundation Board of Governors; a Director and member of Executive Committee of ORBIS International and a Director Emeritus of Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. He is Vice Chairman of Air Force Academy Falcon Foundation; President of The Wings Club; a Trustee and member of Executive Committee of National World War II Museum and Trustee of Kent School; member of Harvard Medical School Immunology Advisory Council; member of Boards of Business Executives for National Security, and USO of Metropolitan New York.
