Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University – Worldwide Webinar Series to Feature NTSB Official, Faculty Experts

NTSB Member Robert L. Sumwalt will be among the presenters participating in a complimentary webinar series being offered by ERAU on Nov. 12. Other dates for the webinars are Oct. 8 and Jan. 14.

Daytona Beach, Fla., Oct. 2, 2015 – National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Member Robert L. Sumwalt will be among the presenters participating in a complimentary webinar series being offered by Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University – Worldwide.

On Thursday, Oct. 8, the series will begin with “Building High-Performance Virtual Teams: Keys to Success in Today’s Global Environment.” Joe Gray, an adjunct professor with Embry-Riddle Worldwide, will share techniques on how managers can use virtual meetings to develop powerful teams – regardless of geographic location. The session begins at 2 p.m. (EST).

Other dates include: 

  • “Improving Safety Through Accident Investigation,” Thursday, Nov. 12, 2 p.m. (EST), presented by NTSB Board Member and Embry-Riddle alumnus Robert L. Sumwalt
  • “Keeping Pace with Change: Challenges for the Aircraft MRO Industry,” Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016, 2 p.m. (EST), presented by Patti Clark, assistant professor in the College of Aeronautics at Embry-Riddle Worldwide

Each 50-minute webinar includes a presentation and Q & A session. Attendees do not need to be enrolled with Embry-Riddle Worldwide to participate.

Webinars will be archived and can be viewed after the live presentation. This complimentary webinar series gives prospective students and the public an opportunity to experience Embry-Riddle Worldwide instruction while also learning about current trends and topics.
