BIOACT 280 wax remover/cleaner

Petroferm Inc., Cleaning Product’s BIOACT 280, a bio-based cleaner, was demonstrated  during MRO Americas 2011 in Miami Beach, FL. It was seen to effectively and quickly remove AEROWAX MT, a highly flexible maskant wax, commonly used in selective plating operations. BIOACT 280 is known throughout the aerospace industry for its high wax loading capacity, often resulting in change outs once every two years. It has also been tagged as the environmentally-responsible alternative to TCE, which is recognized as a suspected carcinogen and hazardous air pollutant.  The BIOACT 280 series is approved by GE Aviation, CFM, Goodrich Landing Systems, Hawker Pacific, Honeywell Aerospace, International Aero Engines, Messier, Pratt & Whitney, and Rolls-Royce.
