Phillips 66 Engineer Steven Strollo to Lead Forum at EAA AirVenture

The session will take place Wednesday, July 27 from 10-11:15 a.m., Forum Stage 2 at the EAA Fly-In Convention Grounds (located adjacent to Wittman Regional Airport).

HOUSTON – Phillips 66® Lubricants Engineer, Steven Strollo, will lead an educational forum at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2016. His presentation, Which Engine Oils Are Right For You, will cover the most important properties of piston aviation engine oil, functions of an engine lubricant, engine oil specifications, and advantages of a mineral oil formulation. The session will take place Wednesday, July 27 from 10-11:15 a.m., Forum Stage 2 at the EAA Fly-In Convention Grounds (located adjacent to Wittman Regional Airport).

Strollo has been employed in the lubrication field for 17 years and is the primary contact for Phillips 66 aviation engine oil questions. He’s hosted aviation engine oil forums at Sun & Fun and EAA AirVenture for the last 10 years, and he frequently provides FAA Inspection Authorization refresher training. Strollo maintains Certified Lubrication Specialist (CLS) and Oil Monitoring Analyst levels I and II (OMA I and II) certifications from the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers.

In addition to leading the lubricants-focused forum, Strollo will be at the Phillips 66 tent (#310) to answer customers’ specific questions about premium single and multiviscosity engine oils. He’ll also be a featured guest on EAA Radio Monday, July 25 at 9:30 a.m.
