Aircraft Propeller Service (APS) Names Robert Boggan as Chief Revenue Office

Aircraft Propeller Service, LLC (APS, www.aircraftpropeller.com, Lake Zurich, IL), one of the world’s leading commercial propeller Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organizations, recently announced the appointment of Robert Boggan as Chief Revenue Officer. In this role, Boggan will be responsible for all APS sales, marketing and business strategy activities. Working closely with APS President and CEO Daniel Colbert, he will leverage related leadership and management roles spanning over three decades in the aerospace sector to drive new business opportunities, foster new and existing customer relationships and industry partnerships, launch new, market responsive products and services, and develop an expanded global sales force.

Directly prior to joining APS, Boggan served as Vice President of Sales and Business Development for the Continental Motors Group, Ltd. (CMG), an AVIC International Holding (HK) LTD company which is a global leader in general aviation. While there, he was credited with many achievements including 25% year-over-year sales growth during his first year.

Other key positions held by Boggan include that as Director of Business Development with the Satair Group, an Airbus-owned global provider of aftermarket services and solutions for the commercial aerospace industry; Executive Vice President of Business Development for the ISR Group (Unmanned Aircraft Systems); and numerous positions with Eaton Aerospace as Director of Aftermarket Business, Hydraulics Systems Division; Director of Aftermarket Sales and Support; Director of Aerospace OEM Sales & Marketing, Global; and Director of Sales and Marketing, Global. His tenures at all these companies were marked by significant sales increases, successful acquisitions and steady organic growth. He began his career as a Data Management Engineer, Sales and Support Engineer and Application Engineer with Vickers AMD.

Boggan earned his degree from Mississippi State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He also served in the military for 14 years in active duty and the reserves. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Officer/Aviator (Attack Pilot) and a U.S. Army Aviation Commander (Mississippi National Guard).
