Frontier Airlines and Spirit Airlines to Combine

Spirit Airlines and Frontier Airlines announced a planned merger between the two entities.

Modern Aviation Purchases FBOs at JFK and LGA

Modern Aviation has purchased FBOs at John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) and LaGuardia Airport (LGA) from Sheltair.

Modern Aviation’s CEO, Mark Carmen, said, “Our JFK and LaGuardia customers will find familiar faces when they taxi up to our FBOs. In keeping with our agreement with Sheltair, we will be hiring Sheltair’s New York employees for they have demonstrated excellence with every arrival and departure.”

Universal Aviation Singapore Earns IS-BAH Stage 3 Accreditation

Universal Aviation Singapore at Seletar Airport earned Stage 3 accreditation under the International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH).

Universal Aviation Singapore earned its IS-BAH Stage 1 registration in 2018 and Stage 2 in January 2020.

ATP Flight School Takes Off at Allegheny County Airport

Air France Returns to DFW

Air France announced its returning service to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) in March.

The airline has been on a two-year hiatus since the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic. The airline has restarted service at 11 other U.S. airports in recent months, with the DFW service set to start March 27.
