FlightSafety Enhances myFlightSafety Customer Portal to Support FAR Part 135 Certificate Holders

The new functionality includes access to approved Instructor and Training Center Evaluator (TCE) records, completed FAA Airman Competency/Proficiency Check (FAA 8410-3) forms, as well as access to required Learning Center documentation such as simulator qualification statements, FAR Part 142 certificates, FlightSafety training specifications, and facility maps.

LA GUARDIA AIRPORT, New York (October 10, 2011) – FlightSafety International is pleased to announce a significant enhancement and new functionality on the myFlightSafety Customer portal to support FAR Part 135 certificate holders.

The new functionality includes access to approved Instructor and Training Center Evaluator (TCE) records, completed FAA Airman Competency/Proficiency Check (FAA 8410-3) forms, as well as access to required Learning Center documentation such as simulator qualification statements, FAR Part 142 certificates, FlightSafety training specifications, and facility maps. FlightSafety Customers will also be able to use myFlightSafety to initiate the approval process for new aircraft and Learning Centers as well as request updates to their existing Instructor.

The company also offers Part 135 Operators that are registered myFlightSafety users the ability to transmit training and qualification data directly to ARGUS and CharterX/Wyvern for safety reporting services through its TrainingLink Services™ product. Additionally, FlightSafety offers Customers benefits related to a number of other necessary products and services through the Extended Advantage Program.

Launched in 2003, myFlightSafety provides flight department managers, pilots, maintenance technicians and other aviation professionals with password protected access to their training history and reservations, and enables them to download and print training records and other important information. It also allows Customers to pay invoices online via credit card or ACH Electronic Funds Transfer. Access to myFlightSafety is provided to FlightSafety Customers without charge. There are currently more than 40,000 registered users of myFlightSafety.
