About Technologies Harness Scanner:
THS is a leader in providing automated solutions to improve the speed and reliability of electrical maintenance aboard aircraft. They have developed innovative products and processes for the detection and troubleshooting of electrical sub-systems that enable fleet operators to conduct in-situ diagnostics of new or legacy aircraft, with a focus on both conformity and ageing of the specific electrical sub-systems. The performance objective is to carry-on a full system test with a turnaround time of 40 minutes at a scheduled line maintenance visit instead the many hours required at a fault occurrence with traditional methods; the system can also be used with the same time performance on the line at the diagnostic level. The results of this expert system are immediate, with faults identified, localized and documented on the spot, resulting in improved aircraft reliability, reduction in non scheduled maintenance and better safety. THS ATE test system is an agile, plug and play expert tool that fits in an aircraft carry-on case and permits testing of an entire sub-system of up to 1000 test points in a few minutes, locating open/short and intermittent faults as well as electrical subsystem degradation prior to failure using multiple technologies.
