Mechanix Wear to Enhance Operations with New Headquarters

VALENCIA, Calif. (January 24, 2006) – Mechanix Wear - the first company to develop and introduce high performance work gloves - has started construction on a new 74,000-square-foot office and warehouse facility that will serve as their new headquarters. The new facility is being constructed on a five-acre site at 28525 Witherspoon Parkway, Valencia, CA. 91355.

For the past 15 years, Mechanix Wear has experienced significant sales growth every year and has expanded its operations to include four separate facilities. The new HQ will more than double its current square footage and enable Mechanix Wear to house the entire staff under one roof to improve efficiency of operations.

The new build-to-suit facility, which will include 20,000 square feet of office space and 54,000 square feet of warehouse space, is scheduled to be completed in May 2007. The space will also include a first floor lobby that will include show cars and motorcycles from our sponsored teams. In addition, Mechanix Wear is building a materials testing lab as part of the company’s ongoing commitment to research and development. Mechanix Wear has taken an aggressive role in every step of its design and construction of the new facility and wants to create a signature landmark, which is apparent in the custom architecture and state-of-the-art design.
