Continental Airlines Contributes an Additional $50 Million to its Pension Plans

Continental currently expects to contribute more than $325 million to its pension plans in 2007, significantly exceeding its minimum funding requirement of $187 million for the year.

HOUSTON , Sept. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Continental Airlines(NYSE: CAL) today announced that it has contributed an additional $50 millionin cash to its defined benefit pension plans, bringing its total year-to-datepension contribution to $261 million.
