Jacobs Receives Contract From the Federal Aviation Administration

The $58 million contract has a two-year base period of performance, plus option years, which could extend it through September 2012.

PASADENA, CA - Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it received an indefinite delivery contract from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to provide architect-engineer (A&E) support services for its Terminal Program Operations facilities.

The contract has a two-year base period of performance, plus option years. If all options are exercised, the period of performance may extend through September 24, 2012 . The contract's estimated ceiling amount is $58 million.

Jacobs will provide A&E services required to update and maintain the standard design package, conduct facility evaluations and modernization design-build, and provide terminal and facilities engineering support, design and construction support, risk management, and organizational and performance metrics.

In making the announcement, Jacobs Group vice president Warren Dean states, "We are delighted to have the opportunity to continue building on our legacy 15-year business relationship with the Federal Aviation Administration."
