Transport Canada's Aircraft Services Directorate to receive aircraft operational and maintenance consultation.

IRVINE, CA – InfoTrust Group announces that it has been selected to provide consulting services to the Aircraft Services Directorate (ASD) of Transport Canada. InfoTrust has been engaged by Transport Canada through a Standing Offer arrangement to provide, on an as required basis, services that relate to the ASD's aircraft operational and maintenance environment.

The awarding of this Standing Offer follows the successful completion by InfoTrust of an earlier contract for a preliminary study of the ASD's operating environment and the state of its technical data, which culminated with a set of recommendations aimed at improving the ASD's maintenance and operational capabilities.

"Transport Canada approached InfoTrust looking to bridge their inventory management and aircraft configuration management capabilities," says Geoffrey Godet, CEO, InfoTrust Group. "Their configuration management capabilities were not sufficiently supporting their aircraft maintenance planning and execution. We are pleased that they turned to us to analyze and document their situation and then point them in the right direction."

ASD will look to InfoTrust for services such as analysis of current business flows and processes, identification of opportunities and methods to obtain improved efficiencies, analysis of proposed changes with respect to costs and benefits and impacts to business lines, development of recommended courses of action, including implementation strategies, and provision of project management and implementation services.

"We are certain that ASD will see immediate productivity gains and improvements in their maintenance environment," says Godet. "We are delighted for this opportunity to provide additional services to the Aircraft Services Directorate of Transport Canada. The success of our software solution in the marketplace is tied to our extensive knowledge of aviation operations and maintenance and how technical data is used in those functions. It is this knowledge base that allows us to provide business consulting services to customers like Transport Canada."
