U.S. Air Force Selects Chromalloy to Provide Maintenance Cost Savings on Turbine Engine Repairs

Chromalloy has been selected by the U.S. Air Force to provide repairs on TF33 first stage turbine engine blades in a new three-year contract valued at $1.2 million.

ORANGEBURG, N.Y., September 2, 2010 – Chromalloy announced today that it has been selected by the U.S. Air Force to provide repairs on TF33 first stage turbine engine blades in a new three-year contract valued at $1.2 million.

The remanufacture of the turbine blade repairs will be performed at Chromalloy’s Oklahoma City, Okla., facility, in support of Tinker Air Force Base at Oklahoma City.
