GIBSONVILLE, NC — Tempest® and the Experimental Aircraft Association are teaming up to keep EAA’s magnificent aircraft fleet flying, through a new three-year support agreement between the two organizations.

Tempest will be an official supporter of EAA’s flying activities, supplying oil filters and spark plugs for the aircraft fleet, including those on national tours, beginning in 2011. Those historic aircraft include the B-17 bomber “Aluminum Overcast,” the Ford Tri-Motor, TravelAir E4000, Spirit of St. Louis replica Ryan NYP, Pitcairn Mailwing, T-6 and PT-3. In addition, those parts will also be made available for EAA’s Glastars, Cessna 162 Skycatchers, Piper Aztec, Cessna 201 and Bell 47 helicopters.

“Tempest believes that the EAA is the leader in keeping the aviation world informed of its history and the first provider of the latest news in technological advancements in the future of aviation,” said Stan Fletcher, President at Tempest.

Tempest oil filters are the industry leader in the innovation of performance and safety improvements.
