Pinnacle Airlines Corp. introduces new initiatives to reduce expenses and boost liquidity

Pinnacle Airlines Corp. Ltd. (PNCL), the parent company of Pinnacle Airlines Inc., Mesaba Aviation Inc. and Colgan Air Inc., introduced new initiatives to reduce expenses and boost liquidity.

Pinnacle Airlines Corp. Ltd. (PNCL), the parent company of Pinnacle Airlines Inc., Mesaba Aviation Inc. and Colgan Air Inc., introduced new initiatives to reduce expenses and boost liquidity.

According to Pinnacle Airlines, the company has begun a complete programme which covers modifications to deals with its mainline airline partners, equipment lessors, debt holders, real property lessors and vendors. Under a new plan, Pinnacle Airlines will also inspect and further rationalize its business lines, organizational structure and executive and director level operations. It will also collaborate with its pilots and other workers (both union and non-union) to decrease labor expenses. The company has selected Seabury Group LLC's consulting division - Barclays Capital and law firm Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, to implement the program of initiatives.
