Continental Airlines ranks highest in customer satisfaction category in study by J.D. Power and Associates

Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL) has said that, for the second consecutive year, the airline has ranked the highest in Customer Satisfaction Among Traditional Network Carriers in North America in the J.D. Power and Associates 2007 North America Airline Satisfaction Study.
The airline said that, in the network carrier segment, Continental ranked highest in the list by 24 points over the second ranked airline and was one of only two carriers to improve its scores in 2007.
The study, which is conducted by J.D. Power and Associates, measures customer satisfaction of both business and leisure travellers who have been asked to rate their recent airline travel experiences in several categories.
