United Airlines (Nasdaq: UAUA) is launching new service from Los Angeles to Des Moines, Iowa, and Austin, Texas.
The airline said the daily roundtrip flights are scheduled to begin 13 February 2008 and will be operated by United Express via its explus regional service.
According to United Airlines, customers flying on United Express' explus service will enjoy the first regional jet service with three distinct seating options, and the flights will be operated by United Express regional partner SkyWest with Canadair Regional Jet 700 aircraft.
As part of its winter schedule change, United will also add an additional daily roundtrip flight from Los Angeles to Baltimore, Oklahoma City and Vancouver.
