It is all part of the merger that took place between Delta and Northwest last year, which makes Delta the largest airline in the United States.

Delta is based in Atlanta.

"It was different. We got the notice yesterday late afternoon. We had to notify all the parents. We had some scrambling, but it was fine," said travelor Alita Rossen.

A few other changes, customers may see is a fully integrated Web site for Delta Airlines.

For the frequent fliers, World Perks will transfer to Delta Airlines frequent miles.
