This action follows the employees' rejection of the company's latest offer concerning the renewal of their collective agreement and the union declaring a strike.

Handlex has implemented a contingency plan and expects its operations at the two airports to be unaffected.

All airlines served by Handlex, including Air Transat, are expected to continue operating normally.
