Airbus VIP Interior Certified by BaySys

A340 Aircraft enters into middle eastern service.

ACCOMACK, Va., March 30, 2011 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- CEO/Founder Steve Walton today announced the final certification and entry into service of Virginia's first A340 completion.  The aircraft received both FAA and GACA STC certification for the interior and upgrades which were accomplished at the NASA Wallops Flight Facility located on the eastern shore of Virignia. Steve noted "Our client was quite pleased that the aircraft was delivered significantly under the weight budget and under the contracted sound levels".  "VIP completions such as this are so detailed, we actualy select the trees which make the veneers" Steve noted. The project entailed over 1,000 drawings and reports, and years of effort by engineers, avionics, interiors and maintenance staff. BaySys had as many as 285 employees working the program during all evolutions.  BaySys is currently completing a Boeing B777 program at their facility.
