Swissport appoints new VP Corporate Controlling & Financial Analysis

Nicolas Frochaux will assume his duties March 1 and reports to the Swissport Group CFO Alvaro Gomez-Reino.

Zurich, March 1, 2011 – Swissport International has appointed Nicolas Frochaux as its new Vice President Corporate Controlling & Financial Analysis. He will assume his duties on March 1 and reports to the Swissport Group CFO Alvaro Gomez-Reino. Frochaux succeeds Dany Nasr, who has been promoted to CFO of the Swissport Americas division, based in Washington, D.C.

Nicolas Frochaux (45) has a proven track record within the financial sector. He joins Swissport from the Cham Paper Group, where he has been serving as CFO and a member of executive management for the past four years. Prior to this he spent some 15 years with Royal Dutch Shell, holding several executive positions in areas that included finance (controlling and treasury), IT and human resources.

Nicolas Frochaux is a graduate of St. Gallen University, and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago. He can also draw on international business experience: his various previous positions have included several years spent in the UK, the Netherlands, Germany and Austria.
