I recently returned from the NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention in Orlando. I must say this year it felt a lot more upbeat, which I found odd as Hurricane Sandy kept a big number of attendees and exhibitors from making the trip. But still the conversations were positive and looking to the future, and I appreciated the vibe this year and the outlook for 2013.
As we approach the end of 2012 (this year just flew by) make sure to mark your calendars for the 2013 AviationPROS LIVE event (formerly Cygnus Aviation Expo). Registration will be open on Dec. 1, and the event dates are March 13-14. It will be here before you know it. Look forward to an expanded outdoor demo area to include outdoor booths as well. In addition, we are also expanding the show to include the airfield operations and its related equipment and services.
Also for 2013, Ground Support Worldwide will be celebrating its 20th Anniversary. Cygnus Business Media purchased GSE Today and the GSE Expo in 2001 from George and Jennifer Prill, and the magazine was renamed to what you know today as Ground Support Worldwide. We love hearing from our readers so if you are alos celebrating an anniversary in 2013, let us know since we want to recognize all the leaders of the GSE industry throughout next year.
