Amy Hinzmann was named CFO and COO for Kruckeberg Industries at its 2020 annual board meeting last quarter, Kruckeberg Industries CEO Craig Kruckeberg announced.

Kruckeberg Industries is a holding company for a group of businesses including Stinar Aviation Ground Service Equipment, Bandit Series, LLC, KIK Marketing, Kruckeberg Motorsports, Big’Uns Nuts, and Kruckeberg Services. All of these firms are headquartered in Blooming Prairie, Minn.

Hinzmann worked as a public accountant for the previous decade and most recently served as assistant controller for Minimizer (a leader in heavy truck parts manufacturing and sales). Minimizer was formerly owned by Kruckeberg Industries but sold in August of 2018.

Hinzmann said she joined Kruckeberg Industries to align herself with a family-first company and to stay connected to her hometown of Blooming Prairie.

“Amy sees the benefit that Kruckeberg Industries will be to both Blooming Prairie and our employees,” said Kruckeberg. “She believes in our vision and I believe in her skill set for both finance and operations. She is second to none and one that I have been extremely lucky to work with thus far in my life.”

“Stinar will eventually become the most relied upon global leader in ground support equipment serving our military, aerospace clients, commercial airlines and airport customers,” Hinzmann said. “Our structure and Mr. Kruckeberg’s vision will allow us to be absolute tops in customer service in an industry that literally covers the world.”

Blooming Prairie doesn’t fully appreciate yet what Stinar can become, both in terms of employment and community support,” Hinzmann added.  “Stinar is currently employing more than 20 full-time individuals, has refurbished a 40,000 square foot manufacturing space in town and will ultimately occupy an additional 65,000 square foot facility in Blooming Prairie, MN (the current Minimizer manufacturing area located at 500 Minimizer Way).

The town will soon learn what a benefit Kruckeberg Industries – and Stinar in particular – will be,” Hinzmann continued. “It’s easy to dedicate myself to this, because we could be one of the very best things to happen to our community ever.”

Hinzmann lives in Blooming Prairie with her husband and their two sons, Will and Sam.

“We have big dreams at Kruckeberg Industries and a plan to reach them,” Hinzmann said. “Stinar will provide vast opportunity for our community, our employees and their families, as well as our business partners.  It’s going to be an exciting ride for us all.”

Kruckeberg Industries is actively looking for additional outstanding companies to purchase. They look for firms with either an existing brand advantage, or a desire to build a brand advantage over time.  Kruckeberg Industries capitalizes on joint ventures to acquire 65% or more equity, with the goal of helping founders build out their vision using capital, marketing assistance and the shared resources of other Kruckeberg Industries enterprises.
