AxleTech International Introduces New Axle for Ground Support Equipment

Oct. 18, 2016

Troy, Michigan – AxleTech International launched the TA277, a rigid axle designed for airport baggage and tow tractors.

The TA277 axle replaces the industry standard and time-tested AxleTech TA267 model with a capacity rating of 6,000 lb (2.7T). The TA277 was designed as a free-floating axle with stronger hubs and gearing to handle today’s rugged duty cycle expectations.

“Not only did our engineers make every component stronger, they also took extra effort to make servicing the axle and brakes easier – which can be done in a few minutes,” said Ken Grove, Sales Director for AxleTech.

AxleTech is displaying the new TA277 at the International Airport GSE Expo from October 16-18 in booth 462. For more information about the axle model, please visit https://www.axletech.com/en/products/axles/ta277.
