Chris Advani and Doug Haxall Assume Leadership Roles

Chris Advani will become President and CEO of Malabar and its sister company DAE Industries Inc.; Doug Haxall has become Malabar's Executive Vice President, Operations.

Simi Valley, CA, May 25, 2016 – Malabar International, headquartered in Simi Valley, CA, announced today that Chris Advani will become President and CEO of Malabar and its sister company DAE Industries, Inc., headquartered in Louisville, KY, on June 1, 2016. Effective today, Doug Haxall has become Malabar's Executive Vice President, Operations, reporting to Mr. Advani. Mr. Haxall previously served as Malabar's Vice President of Planning and IT and began working at the company in a consulting role in 2010.

John Carroll, current Malabar Chairman and CEO, said he is leaving the company in expert hands: “Chris is particularly well qualified to lead Malabar, with nearly seven years experience as Malabar's Director of Engineering and Vice President, Operations, and President of DAE for the last two years. Further, Doug has established his bona fides with the company and is ready to accept major responsibilities.”

DAE Industries, founded in 1984, manufactures maintenance equipment for commercial and military aircraft and is a Boeing tooling licensee. It offers engine transport stands, aircraft maintenance stands, aircraft docking systems, ground support equipment, aircraft tooling, and special engineering and design services. Its docking systems are custom-engineered. It also provides leases and refurbishment of its engine stands.
