Get-e is further digitizing and simplifying the management of ground transportation for airline crew, business travel and non-emergency medical transfers through the launch of its updated driver app, with increased tracking facilities.
Providing a complete overview of each transfer in one place, Get-e Driver App increases the level of control operators have over their ground transportation operations. All rides are tracked via GPS and locations are shared through the app. This means that if there is any delay an alternative driver is automatically dispatched, and passengers are notified when their driver has arrived at the pick up location.
The app supports clients across all touchpoints, from pre-ride during the ride and post-ride. All parties, including bookers, station managers and passengers receive SMS notifications and emails updating them on the progress of the ride. Upon arrival, drivers display a "meet and greet" sign for the passenger and the GPS tracking commences once the journey begins. Post-ride, the journey data is collated to provide performance management metrics for nominated stakeholders. A ride feedback function allows for monitoring of customer satisfaction.
Alexander van Deudekom, CEO and founder, Get-e says: “Digitalisation of operational processes is more important than ever for our customers, which is why we developed our driver app in house. We custom made each aspect of the platform to provide crew with the information they need to feel secure and confident in their airport transfers.
