ITW GSE Launches its 7400 JetEx 28 VDC eGPU

The JetEx can provide power to aircraft like the Cessna Citation, Beechcraft, Gulfstream, Dassault Falcon Jet, ATR 42 and ATR 72, Bombardier Q Series / Dash 8 and other aircraft as well.

To minimize their CO2 footprint, airports all over the world are currently replacing diesel powered GSE equipment with battery powered. This goes for buses, baggage loaders, pushback tractors and many other pieces of equipment.

ITW GSE is therefore proud to announce the launch of it’s 7400 JetEx 28 VDC battery powered ground power unit. Contrary to other 28 VDC battery GPUs on the market, the 7400 JetEx has a very high battery capacity that allows for days of use before it needs to be recharged. Actually, it is powerful enough to perform at least 100 starts on a full charge.

Much to the benefit of operators and staff, the purely battery powered 7400 JetEx GPU is super quiet and it neither causes NOx nor CO2 emissions. This makes the eGPU ideal for hangars and for remote use, too.

Apart from providing a comfortable working environment, the ITW GSE 7400 JetEx 28 VDC also limits running costs, because it does not contain any rotating parts, subject to wear and tear.

The JetEx can provide power to aircraft like the Cessna Citation, Beechcraft, Gulfstream, Dassault Falcon Jet, ATR 42 and ATR 72, Bombardier Q Series / Dash 8 and other aircraft as well.

Worth mentioning is that the JetEx is so small that it can easily pass under an aircraft wing. It can be charged from any 50/60 Hz socket, it can supply power and be recharged at the same time and it is Compliant to the California Energy Commission. The new addition to the ITW GSE battery family complements a line that already counts for a 400 Hz eGPU with a rating of 90 kVA and which will soon be completed with a 180 kVA unit as well.
