Gazpromneft-Aero, the jet fuel business operator of Gazprom Neft, has signed a new agreement with Air France to refuel regular flights at the Nikola Tesla international airport in Belgrade, Serbia, from where the airline has recently launched regular flights to Paris. The total refueling volume under this contract will exceed 2,000 tons and will be carried out in partnership with NIS, a subsidiary of Gazprom Neft in Serbia.

At present Gazpromneft-Aero refuels Air France aircraft at Sheremetyevo International Airport (Moscow) under a two-year agreement. In 2018 the refueling volume of the carrier’s airplanes in Sheremetyevo exceeded 11,000 tons of jet fuel.

Gazpromneft-Aero CEO Vladimir Yegorov said: “Increasing the refuelling volume of major air carriers at international airports is a priority for the development of our business. As part of Gazpromneft-Aero’s long-term strategy, our aim is to become one of the ten major jet fuel suppliers worldwide as we continue to expand our international network by offering the highest standards of refuelling services. In the future we aim to further expand our partnership with Air France at Russian and international airports.”
