    The JBT Tempest i was a two-year project incorporating customer feedback based on experience of more than 1,300 units in the field. Additions include automated control of boom positioning, auto boom park, and operator skill level boom speeds. Upgrades include the control system with key functions integrated into joysticks, intuitive diagnostics and excellent maintenance access for quick and easy repair. The Tempest i uses the Air First Deicing system, single-operator system, and single-engine design, all targeted to safely reduce environmental impact and operational costs.
