Goldhofer Showcases Sherpa at inter airport Europe

Oct. 17, 2017
The Sherpa line of baggage and cargo tow tractors are available in three different diesel engine versions in addition to a fully electric option.

At inter airport Europe 2017, Goldhofer displayed its new range of baggage and cargo tow tractors, called Sherpa for their endurance.

Based on a unique compact and modular vehicle concept, the Sherpa family enables users to find the perfect tow tractor for individual requirements – depending on drive train, engine power, ballasting, cabin form and exhaust class. Additionally, there are many options for operators’ comfort. The narrow body is  stable and offers an easily accessible cabin with a good view.

During the exhibition, Goldhofer presented the Sherpa in three different diesel engine versions, as well as the fully electric Sherpa E, which features a maintenance-free lithium battery.

Additionally, Goldhofer displayed its AST-2X Phoenix, which offers new features like easyCONNECT, a remote monitoring and analysis system for the towbarless aircraft tractor. The company's F396C aircraft tow tractor was exhibited to showcase its improved Tier 4 exhaust class engine.
