SOMERSET, N.J. (December 11, 2018) – In a move that completes the merger announced in 2016, BEUMER Glidepath, LLC is now part of BEUMER Corporation and has changed its name to BEUMER Corporation, Airport Division.

BEUMER Corporation, Airport Division will continue to offer its full range of design/build services for airport baggage handling systems from offices in Dallas, Texas.

“This is the next step in the maturation of our operations, and is representative of a larger, stronger and integrated company that is proficient at providing the consistent quality, service and overall value that our customers expect,” said Finn Lyng Pedersen, President, BEUMER Corporation, Airport Division.

BEUMER Corporation became a part owner of Glidepath LLC in 2014 to add conventional baggage handling products to its North American airports segment. In 2016, BEUMER acquired the remaining interest of Arlington, Texas-based Glidepath. BEUMER offers a full range of both conventional baggage-handling systems and tote-based baggage-handling systems.

A technology leader in the design and manufacture of airport baggage handling systems, BEUMER Corporation, Airport Division today offers a comprehensive product line that includes conventional belt conveyor systems, baggage claim and make-up devices, and tote and cart technology for individual baggage carrier systems. The company offers a full range of design/build services including engineering and systems design, project management, installation and commissioning, and customer support.

“Bringing all operations under the BEUMER Corporation, Airport Division banner allows us to strengthen our position as a technology leader and as a premier provider of systems and services for the airport baggage handling industry,” Pedersen said.
