This issue kicks off our Ground Support Leader of the Year awards series.
Every year we reach out to the industry and ask for nominations for our three annual awards: Product or Service Leader, Team Leader, and Lifetime Achievement. This year we have had an impressive amount of nominations come in.
Being able to recognize a product or individual that has made an impact on others in the industry is why we do these awards, and it is great to read all of the nominations.
For these awards, we have the opportunity to meet with the companies and individuals shaping the industry and talk about ground support – something we love to do. Chatting with the people propelling the industry forward is great experience in itself.
Don’t forget we will be recognizing both the 2017 and 2018 winners at the International Airport GSE Expo, being held Oct. 2-4, at the Rio in Las Vegas. I hope to see you there congratulating all of our winners.
