Allegiant Launches New Nonstop Flights to Savannah From Louisville
Allegiant on May 26, begins new nonstop service from Louisville, Kentucky to Savannah, Georgia via the Savannah / Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) beginning May 26.
“Allegiant is pleased to begin this new service to historic Savannah, providing a convenient, nonstop option for Louisville travelers,” said Lukas Johnson, Allegiant senior vice president of commercial. “We know Louisville travelers visiting Savannah will bask in its charming, Southern traditions and warm hospitality.”
The new seasonal route will operate twice weekly and expand on the service Allegiant currently operates to Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport (SAV). This new route will bring nearly 4,500 additional visitors to experience breathtaking Savannah and the beaches of Hilton Head and will contribute to the local economies through increased visitor spending.
“We are grateful that Allegiant has elected to serve the Savannah / Hilton Head region with this new air service,” said Savannah Airport Commission Executive Director Greg Kelly. “There is no doubt that Savannah, Hilton Head, and the Low Country will enjoy many new visitors as a result of this service, and that the low cost airfares will provide a great opportunity for those in our region to visit Louisville.”
