Allegiant Launches New Routes to Destin/Fort Walton Beach and Indianapolis

Allegiant on May 4, launches new routes to Destin / Fort Walton Beach, Florida and Indianapolis from Austin, just in time for the summer travel season. 

“We’re excited to begin these affordable, nonstop flights to Florida’s Emerald Coast and iconic Indy,” said Lukas Johnson, Allegiant senior vice president of commercial. “We know Austin-area travelers will take advantage of this service to enjoy a sunny summer getaway to these unique cities.”

Routes added to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) include:

  • Destin / Fort Walton Beach, Florida via Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS)
  • Indianapolis via Indianapolis International Airport (IND)

These new routes will bring nearly 19,500 additional visitors to the area during the summer season, contributing to visitor spending and economic growth. With the addition of service to Destin and Indianapolis, Allegiant will offer service to 10 destinations from Austin via the new South Terminal. Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found only at Allegiant.com.
