Frontier Airlines Takes Seasonal Hiatus at BHM in November

Sept. 25, 2019

Frontier Airlines will begin a seasonal hiatus in mid-November at Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport.

The company announced the hiatus today. Corporate communications manager Zach Kramer said the airline is currently in the development phase of its spring 2020 schedule.

Frontier began flights in Birmingham last year with service to Philadelphia, Denver and Orlando.

At Huntsville International Airport, Frontier is suspending its flights from HSV to Denver starting in November as well, and that route should resume in the spring. Routes to Orlando continue.

Headquartered in Denver, Frontier Airlines offers ultra low-cost fares with the motto, “Low Fares Done Right.” There are fees for both carry-on and checked bags.
